Professor Yngve Hamnerius

Professor Yngve Hamnerius is with the Bioelectromagnetics group at the Signals & Systems Dept., Chalmers University of Technology, Goteborg, Sweden. Hamnerius main research work has been on biological effects of electromagnetic fields, measurements of exposure and field reduction techniques. He is working with both radio frequency and low frequency fields. He has more than 240 publications and two patents on magnetic field reduction.

He is official Swedish delegate in COST BM704. He was board member of the founding board of EBEA (European BioElectromagnetics Society). He has also been a board member of BEMS (BioElectromagnetics Society), chairman of section K, Swedish national committee of radio science (URSI Sweden) and member of Swedish national committee of radiation pro-tection research. Hamnerius is also a member of the steering committee of the National Re-search Programme "Non-ionizing Radiation" at the Swiss National Science Foundation.
