Gunnhild Oftedal PhD

Gunnhild Oftedal is Research Coordinator at Sor-Trondelag University College, Faculty of Technology in Norway. Earlier she has been working as scientist at the Norwegian research institution SINTEF and at the Norwegian University of Technology. Since 2000 her main focus in research has been effects of weak electromagnetic fields in the low frequency and the high frequency range on humans.

She was the Norwegian MC member and also member of the Steering Committee of COST Action 281; a past member of the Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee, NK 211 CLC Electromagnetic field exposure; is a member of the Council of European BioElectromagntics Association; and have been member of Norwegian expert groups concerning "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" and effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields, respectively.
